#Seawolves set to host fall Alumnae Day
Sept. 18, 2013
Stony Brook, N.Y. –The Stony Brook volleyball team will hold a fall alumnae day Oct. 4 during its home opener against New Hampshire, which comes during Stony Brook’s Homecoming weekend. The evening will include special recognition in between the second and third sets as well as complimentary pizza with the team following the match.
“We are excited to welcome back our alums for a match this fall in which they will be recognized individually along with any accolades they may have garnered during their tenures as Seawolves,” volleyball head coach Coley Pawlikowski said. “We are continuing to stress the importance of alumnae to our student-athletes and hoping to continue to help foster the relationship between current and past players.”
“Our young women can learn so much from alumnae as well as utilize them as they navigate their choices of majors and career paths. Alumnae and our current athletes can look forward to two events per year, so please stay tuned for our spring event. We hope to have another good turnout on Oct. 4th.”
Alumnae are asked to check in at the scorers table between 6:45-7:20 p.m. and are invited to watch the Seawolves take on New Hampshire in a conference matchup at Pritchard Gymnasium starting at 7:30 p.m.
Please RSVP via email to Pawlikowski at Coley.Pawlikowski@stonybrook.edu by Oct. 2.
