#Seawolves wrap up spring season with Alumnae Day
April 26, 2014
Stony Brook, N.Y. – The Stony Brook volleyball team held its Second Annual Spring Alumnae Day Saturday. The gathering included an alumnae scrimmage, lunch in the Pritchard lobby and admission to the Stony Brook spring football game.
“We would like to thank all of the alumnae that came out for our Spring Alumnae Day!” head coach Coley Pawlikowski said. “We had another really good turnout and are continuing to grow our Seawolves family within the program.
“It was a great day. It is always so much fun to see former Seawolves out on the court enjoying the game and what was a big part of their experience at Stony Brook. I know our women fully enjoyed the opportunity to get to know those that came before them and have fun with them.”
The day marked the end of the spring season for Seawolves.
“My staff and I are really proud of the strides our team has made individually and more importantly as a TEAM this spring,” Pawlikowski said. “We played some of the best volleyball we have played yet and are excited about carrying over what we have gained this spring into the fall.”
