Stony Brook, N.Y. – The Stony Brook volleyball team is inviting its alumnae to dust off their knee pads for a day of scrimmages, food and fun at its second annual spring Alumnae Day April 26.

“We are excited to welcome our alumni back for our second annual spring Alumnae Tournament,” second-year head coach Coley Pawlikowski said. “Last year, we had a great turnout and are excited for this event to continue to grow.”

The day will begin with one or two alumnae teams competing in matches against the current Seawolves, Fordham and Seton Hall. After play concludes, Stony Brook will host a luncheon with current and former players before heading out to the spring football game.

We love having our alumnae come back,” Pawlikowski said. “It’s great to provide an opportunity for our current Seawolves to get know who came through the program before them and where they are now.

“As an athlete here at Stony Brook, you become part of a really solid network after your playing days. My staff strongly supports building and fostering the relationships between current players and alumnae.”

To RSVP, email Coley Pawlikowski by April 23 at coley.pawlikowski@stonybrook.edu. Please specify whether you plan to play or watch. Attendees and non-attendees are welcome to make a donation to the program’s Fund for Excellence at www.stonybrook.edu/seawolvesgift.
