College Station, Texas - The Stony Brook women's tennis team will open the NCAA Championship against Texas A&M Wednesday. The Seawolves (15-3) are making their third straight appearance in the tournament.

Friday's match tentatively will start at 3 p.m. ET.

Stony Brook will enter tomorrow's match against the Aggies riding a 12-match winning streak.

Junior Polina Movchan (Kiev, Ukraine), the America East Player of the Year, will lead the charge with an 11-3 record at No. 1 singles.

Junior Cassandra Dix (Northamptonshire, U.K.) is 7-0 at No. 5 singles and leads the team with 12 wins in dual matches.

Texas A&M, seeded 10th, is hosting the Tennis Championship for the sixth time.
