The Stony Brook women's tennis team continued its winning ways with wins over Binghamton and Hartford on Saturday. The Seawolves are 3-0 in conference play entering next weekend's action against Albany and Boston University.

Senior Nini Lagvilava (Tbilsi, Georgia) won the clinching point against the Bearcats with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles. Lagvilava teamed with sophomore Polina Movchan (Kiev, Ukraine) for an 8-3 win in No. 1 doubles.

Freshman Becky Shtilkind (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and sophomore Cassandra Dix (Northamptonshire, United Kingdom) combined for an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles.

Stony Brook dominated Hartford, winning singles matches 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2, 4 and 5, singles, respectively.

Freshmen Jackie Altansarnai (Hinsdale, Ill.) and Louise Badoche (Paris, France) teamed for an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles. Shtilkind and Dix won 8-0 at No. 2 doubles.

The Seawolves will be home next weekend for matches against the Great Danes and Terriers before facing NJIT on Senior Day.
