Hoboken, N.J. - Junior Molly Swartz (Grass Valley, Calif.) set an ECAC Winter Championship record on the one-meter diving board with a score of 406.00 on Saturday. Swartz placed first in both the one-meter and three-meter competitions, while freshman Kyle Gannon (North Babylon, N.Y.) placed first in the men's three-meter competition.

Swartz's score also topped the previous program record of 329.50 set by Serra Czapla (Glastonbury, Conn.) last season. Gannon, meanwhile, registered an impressive mark of 429.00.

Czapla took second in this year's one-meter competition with a personal-best mark of 388.50, which also was a higher score than the previous ECAC record of 383.85 set in 1998. The score landed Czapla in second place behind Swartz, while junior Jodie Darnell (Rocklin, Calif.) rounded out the top three with a mark of 365.80.

On the three-meter board, the Seawolves again took the top three places as Darnell took second behind Swartz with a score of 380.75, while Czapla took third with 359.50.

Gannon placed third overall in the men's three-meter event with a score of 382.95.

The Seawolves were one of 13 teams competing at the ECAC Winter Championship on the women's side, and one of 15 teams on the men's side. Following the meet, Swartz was named Women's Diver of the Meet, while head diving coach Dr. Brian Yodice was named Women's Diving Coach of the Meet.
