Boston, Mass. - The Stony Brook softball team dropped a 7-3 decision to No. 1 seed Boston University on Saturday morning on the second day of the America East Championship. The Seawolves will now face No. 3 Albany for the second time this weekend at 4 p.m. The winner of that game will advance to the championship to face BU.

Senior Bernadette Tenuto (Audubon, N.J.) went 2-for-4 and knocked in two runs to lead the Seawolves against the Terriers.

No. 3 Albany knocked off Maine in Saturday's second game, 2-0, as pitcher Brittany MacFawn threw a one-hitter. With the defeat, Maine was eliminated from the tournament.

The loser of the Stony Brook vs. Albany game will also be eliminated, while the winner will advance to Sunday's championship against BU. The Terriers still need to lose twice to be eliminated.
