Opponent: Maine comes into this weekend’s series with a 15-13 record, including a victory over in-state rival Husson, 6-1, Thursday.  Jean Stevens hit a two-run homer, her second of the season, to break open the game in the fifth inning.  Jessica Burk is hitting .424 with three HRs and 17 RBIs.  EmJ Vogel is batting .341 with 17 runs scored.  The Black Bears have used five pitchers this season.  Hannah Hill and Alexis Bogdanovich have seen the most action in the circle.  Hill is 6-3 with a 2.65 ERA and Bogdanovich is 4-5 with a 2.52 ERA.

Series: Stony Brook leads the all-time series, 22-17-1.  In last year’s series in Orono, the Seawolves took two of three.  Stony Brook is 6-1-1 in its last eight games and has only one loss at home in the last four seasons against Maine.

Up Next: The Seawolves will host two non-conference doubleheaders next week -- Wednesday against Temple and Thursday against Fairleigh Dickinson.
