Preview: Winners of four straight games, the Stony Brook softball team opens America East play Saturday against Albany.  The Seawolves have won four of their last five games against the Great Danes, including two in last year's conference championship, which was won by Stony Brook.

Opponent: Maggie Cocks is the team's best hitter (.324) as she leads Albany in runs (12), hits (12) and RBIs (12).  Charlise Castro is batting .306 with two HRs and five RBIs.  Vicky McFarland has stolen 14 out of 15 bases.  Brittany McFawn is 4-2 with a 2.12 ERA in 43 innings.  Mackenzie Thompson and Emily Ostrom also have started games in the circle.

Series: Since 2001, Albany leads the all-time series, 25-17.  But Stony Brook has won five of the last seven games played at University Field.
