Kansas City, Kan. - The Stony Brook women's soccer team was ranked for the fourth straight week in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Northeast Regional Poll, climbing back up to No. 7 in the latest rankings. The Seawolves (6-2-2) also maintained their spot (No. 61) in the Top Drawer Soccer Top 64 rankings for the second straight week.

The top six slots in this week's Northeast Regional Poll belong to BIG EAST schools: Georgetown, Notre Dame, Marquette, Louisville, Rutgers and Connecticut. Stony Brook is next, followed by DePaul, Boston University and Quinnipiac.

In the Top Drawer Soccer rankings, Stony Brook remained at No. 61 and is still the only America East institution to make the list. The rankings simulate the NCAA Tournament field of 64 in an effort to project the postseason teams.

With just one loss in their last nine games, the Seawolves will open conference play on Thursday with a 1 p.m. contest at Albany.
