Kansas City, Kan. - The Stony Brook women's soccer team (5-1-1) has re-entered the latest NSCAA Northeast Region Poll, as announced Tuesday. The Seawolves are tied for 10th in the rankings and are the only America East program in the poll.

Stony Brook was previously ranked as high as No. 9 on Sept. 3, and has been ranked in the poll for three weeks of the 2013 season. The Seawolves dropped out of the rankings after a 1-0 defeat to Yale on Sept. 7, but have since picked up steam with victories over local foes Siena and Wagner.

Notre Dame tops this week's poll, while Georgetown, Boston University, UConn and St. John's round out the top five, respectively. Marquette is sixth, Rutgers seventh, South Florida eighth, Monmouth ninth and DePaul is tied for 10th with the Seawolves.

Stony Brook returns to action this weekend at the Omni Hotels Colorado Women's Soccer Classic. The Seawolves will face host Colorado on Friday at 6 p.m. EST, before facing Northern Colorado on Sunday at 1 p.m. EST.
