Head Coach Sue Ryan's Reaction
"This weekend was a very good experience for our team. We were able to play some good teams at a high altitude and I thought we competed and handled adversity well, especially in the second half Friday and throughout the game today. We really battled hard, and while we're not happy with the results, we're pleased with the effort we put forth."
• Northern Colorado (4-3-2) scored the only goal of the match in the 21st minute when Ambree Bellin stepped up and drilled a free kick past Seawolves' keeper Ashley Castanio (Oceanside, N.Y.).
The Numbers Game
• The Seawolves outshot the Bears by a 15-12 margin.
News & Notes
• The Seawolves had a goal called off in the second half due to a questionable offside call.
