Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook women's basketball team will look for its third win in the last four games when it welcomes St. Peter's to Pritchard Gym on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Last Time Out

The Seawolves (5-4) fell to Fairleigh Dickinson on Tuesday by a 56-49 score. Sophomore Sabre Proctor (Harrisburg, Pa.) scored 16 points to pace the Seawolves, while senior Jessica Previlon (Brooklyn, N.Y.) chipped in eight points, nine rebounds and five assists.

St. Peter's

The Peacocks have struggled out of the gates, dropping their first seven games of the campaign. Kristal Edwards leads the team with 12.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. As a team, St. Peter's is averaging 48.1 points per contest and is shooting 29.1% from the field.

So far this season, Stony Brook and St. Peter's have faced four common opponents: Navy, NJIT, Sacred Heart and FDU. The Seawolves are 3-1 in those games, while the Peacocks are 0-4.

After missing the first seven games of the season, senior Sam Landers (Springfield, Va.) is back in the Seawolves' lineup. The senior is Stony Brook's active career scoring leader with 532 points and ranks fourth all-time in program history with a 75.9% career clip at the foul line (104-for-137).
