Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook women's basketball team held its annual Boys & Girls Club Day Friday, Nov. 29 at Pritchard Gymnasium.

"We absolutely enjoy out partnership with the Boys & Girls Club," said Stony Brook women's basketball head coach Beth O'Boyle, who established the relationship with the Suffolk County chapter when she arrived in 2011. "It is a good opportunity for our program to give back to the community, and it is fun playing hoops with the boys and girls."

Members of the Boys & Girls Club received a free ticket to watch Stony Brook play Army at 2 p.m., and they were able to watch senior guard Chikilra Goodman record a career-high 24 points. Afterwards, they were treated pizza provided by Luigi's Pizzeria, where the Seawolves student-athletes signed autographs and Wolfie Seawolf himself gave out hugs and high-fives to the young fans.

The day ended with a postgame clinic put on by the Stony Brook coaching staff and players.
