Stony Brook, N.Y. – Stony Brook women’s basketball head coach Beth O’Boyle announced earlier this month that the team will continue its partnership with the Boys & Girls Club, and the Seawolves will host multiple events for the organization this weekend.

Boys & Girls Club members wearing their jerseys will receive free admission to the Stony Brook women’s basketball game against Maine on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 4 p.m. The game will include a Senior Day ceremony honoring SBU’s six seniors 10 minutes prior to the opening tip of their Pritchard finale.

On Sunday, Feb. 24, Boys & Girls Club members are invited to attend a free clinic from 11-12:30 p.m. at Pritchard Gymnasium. The women’s basketball team will work with participants on skills and fundamentals.

This is the second consecutive year the Seawolves have partnered with the Boys & Girls Club for a clinic and special invitation to a game.

These events were previously slated for Feb. 9 and 10 but were rescheduled due to Blizzard Nemo.
