Stony Brook, N.Y. - Sophomore Albert Fontova won Flight D Singles to lead the Stony Brook men's tennis team on the final day of the Stony Brook Invitational on Wednesday at University Courts.

Fontova won 6-3, 6-2 in the semifinals before earning the Flight D title in a walkover. Sophomore Mons Knudtzon also won the consolation draw of Flight A singles.

The Seawovles return to action on the weekend of Sept. 21 for the National Tennis Center Invitational.
