Cambridge, Mass. - Freshman Raphael Termat (Nice, France) was named America East Rookie of the Year, the conference announced Thursday. Termat is the fourth Seawolf in school history to win the honor.

Termat went 10-3 in dual matches at No. 2 singles and was part of 10 wins in doubles play. He won eight of his last nine matches and was a consistent performer in singles and doubles.

Termat, who garnered first team all-conference mention, is joined by freshman Alexandre Felisa (Boulogne, France) and sophomore Jose Morales (Bradenton, Fla.). The duo, who were named first team in doubles, posted a 4-2 record at No. 1.

Freshman Tyler Hoffman (Sayville, N.Y.) led the Seawolves with 13 singles wins in dual matches en route to second team all-conference honors. He also posted a 19-7 record in all singles matches to lead Stony Brook in winning percentage.

Morales, a second team all-conference selection in singles, saw action in three positions. He posted a 2-0 record at No. 2 and 4 singles and finished the season with a 9-5 record in dual matches.

Stony Brook's coaching staff, led by Gary Glassman, was named Coaching Staff of the Year for a third time on the men's side.
