Cambridge, Mass. - For a second straight week, a member of the Stony Brook men's tennis team has been named America East Player of the Week as freshman Marcelo Locatelli (Londrina, Brazil) garnered the award on Tuesday.

Locatelli won a pair of singles matches in the fourth position last weekend, defeating Boston University's Emilio Teran, 7-6, 6-0, and NJIT's Erik Artursson, 1-6, 6-1, 6-1. At No. 2 doubles, he helped the Seawolves capture a point with an 8-6 win.

Stony Brook is in the midst of a three-game winning streak with the America East Championships only a week away.
