Stony Brook, N.Y. - Freshman Tyler Hoffman captured the 'C' singles flight to highlight day two of the Stony Brook Invitational. Hoffman beat teammate and freshman Brandon Stone in the finals, 6-4, 6-4.

Hoffman won 10-7 in a third-set tiebreaker and Stone was victorious over teammate Hari Rohar, 6-2, 6-2.

Stone and freshman Raphael Termat battled in an 8-3 semifinal loss to the Concordia duo of Babadjanov and Ojanen.

The Seawolves will be back in action in three weeks when they travel to compete in the Penn Invitational.
