Columbia, Md. - Making its first appearance in the America East Championship finals since 2009, the Stony Brook men's tennis team fell to Binghamton, 4-0, Sunday at the Wilde Lake Tennis Club.

The Seawolves, who were seeded third, were down 1-0 after losing the doubles point. The Bearcats won 8-3 at No. 2 and 8-4 at No. 4 to capture the point.

Binghamton won singles flights at No. 1, 4 and 6. Sophomore Marcelo Locatelli (Londrina, Brazil) did not finish his match, but was tied a set with Eliott Hureau at No. 5.

Sophomore Jose Morales (Brandenton, Fla.) won the first set, 6-4, over Robin Lesage at the time the other flights completed.

Stony Brook finished the season 12-7.
