#Seawolves split with Binghamton, Hartford

The Stony Brook men's tennis team wrapped up America East play this season with a loss to Binghamton and a win over Hartford. The Seawolves were defeated by the Bearcats, 4-1, but topped the Hawks, 5-0, to move to 10-6 on the season.
Freshman Raphael Termat (Nice, France) continued his excellent play at No. 2 singles with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Alexander Maisin.
Stony Brook bounced back against Hartford by easily capturing the doubles point. Solid singles performances were turned in by freshmen Jose Morales (Bradenton, Fla.) and Hari Rohan (Tampa, Fla.) and junior Albert Fontova (Lleida, Spain). Morales won his match 7-5, 6-1, Rohan came out on top 6-2, 6-1 and Fontova best his opponent 6-4, 6-1.
Freshman Tyler Hoffman (Sayville, N.Y.) also won at No. 3 singles after his opponent retired in the first set.
The Seawolves will close out the regular season against Fairfield on Monday, April 21 at 3 p.m.
