West Hempstead, N.Y. - The Stony Brook men's tennis team beat Long Island rival Hofstra, 6-1, Tuesday afternoon at the Hempstead Lake Indoor Tennis Center.

Freshman Brandon Stone (Melville, N.Y.) stretched his record to 3-0 at No. 5 singles with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Joseph Erichsen. Stone teamed with freshman Hari Rohan (Tampa, Fla.) to clinched the match with an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles.

Sophomore Raphael Termat (Nice, France) defeated Adrien Bailly, 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles. Junior Albert Fontova (Lleida, Spain) bested Leo Pires, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.

Termat and sophomore Vinicius Degani (Sao Paulo, Brazil) claimed an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles.

Freshman Alexandre Felisa (Boulogne, France) earned his fifth win at No. 1 singles with a three-set victory.

The Seawolves (8-5) will host Quinnipiac tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m.
