Boston, Mass. - The Stony Brook swimming and diving teams competed on day two of the 2012 America East Championship on Friday, and after 14 events, the men's team stands in fourth, while the women are in fifth.

Senior Darcy Heuser (Centerville, Ohio) opened the day with a strong performance in the 500 freestyle, touching seventh in 4:56.48. Heuser then helped the 200 freestyle relay team place second in 1:35.20, less than a second off the pace set by UMBC.
