Men's Soccer Camps

Oct. 25, 2013

CHICAGO - Stony Brook men’s assistant soccer coach Dannie Merida has been selected to be a lead instructor in two national soccer camps hosted by EXACT Sports.

Merida will be instructing top high school soccer players at the EXACT Soccer Philadelphia Boys Soccer ID Camp in December 2013 and at the EXACT Boston Boys Soccer ID Camp in February of 2014.

The EXACT ID soccer camps provide high-level instruction from coaches coming from all over the country for any and all high school soccer players. The camps allow the coaches to conduct group clinic activity, observe players’ development and to lead one-on-one sessions with each player.

Merida is in his third season as an assistant coach for the Stony Brook men's soccer team, helping lead the #Seawolves to the America East Championship in 2011. He has played and coached at multiple levels of soccer in his career, including earning a developmental contract with Municipal FC, Guatemala in 2006.
