Albany, N.Y. - The Stony Brook men's soccer team lost for the third time in four matches as Albany blanked the Seawolves 3-0 on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, SB drops to 8-5-2 overall and 2-3-2 in conference play, while the Great Danes improved to 9-3-2 and 4-2-1.

Peter Squeglia opened up the scoring for Albany 14:00 into the contest, while Savvas Theofilou's goal just under 13 minutes later gave the Great Danes a 2-0 advantage at the half. Squeglia added his second goal of the game six minutes into the second half to seal the victory.

EJ Xikis took the loss in net, turning away five shots. Bouna Coundoul made 10 saves in the win for Albany.

The Seawolves return to action on Tuesday, when they travel to Rider for a 3:00 p.m. match-up with the Broncos.
