About The Game: Tonight's game is the final regular season home game of the 2012 season.  Prior to tonight's game, Stony Brook will honor its 10 seniors - Graham Adams, Kyle Belton, Russ Bonanno, Robbie Campbell, Adam Dahms, Robert Gibson, Ryan Keneally, Jared LeVerne, Greg Miceli and Kyle Moeller.  


 

 

Scouting Hartford: Hartford leads the conference in goals scored (154), but also has given up the second-most goals (141).  Senior Carter Bender leads the Hawks with 27 goals and 43 points.  Senior Ryan Compitello, the brother of former Stony Brook All-American Tom Compitello, has a team-high 18 assists.  Freshman Ty Schuldt is 117 of 250 from the `X'.  Senior Scott Bement owns an 11.36 goals against average and a .498 save percentage.  

Last Time Out: The Stony Brook men's lacrosse team received two goals apiece from sophomore Matt Bellando and senior Russ Bonanno, but Yale's Greg Mahony scored 1:06 into overtime to lift the No. 20 Bulldogs to a 9-8 victory.

Seawolves News and Notes: Mike Rooney earned his fourth straight America East Rookie of the Week award and fifth overall Monday ... Rooney has 26 points in his last seven games and 14 points in conference play (12 goals, two assists) ... the win over UMBC was Stony Brook's 17th straight America East Conference regular season victory ... its last loss came against the Retrievers on March 28, 2009 ... by virtue of its win over UMBC, Stony Brook has clinched a berth in the conference tournament.
