Faceoff: The Stony Brook men's lacrosse team will conclude non-conference play Tuesday night against Quinnipiac.  Both squads are coming off overtime games as the Seawolves lost to UMBC, 12-11, and the Bobcats defeated Detroit, 10-9.

Opponent: Junior Michael Sagl, a West Islip graduate, leads the Bobcats with nine goals and 12 assists.  Senior Dylan Webster and sophomore Ryan Keenan have scored 14 and 10 goals, respectively. Quinnipiac's defense has been very solid as senior Gill Conners leads Division I with a .632 save percentage and his 8.68 goals against average ranks 13th. Opponents have scored 10 or more goals on the Bobcats twice.

Series: Stony Brook leads the all-time series over Quinnipiac, 5-1.  The two squads competed against each other in non-conference play in 2001-02 as well as when the Bobcats were members of the America East from 2002-05.  The last time Stony Brook and Quinnipiac played was in 2005, won by the Seawolves, 12-10.



Up Next: Stony Brook will continue conference play against Vermont on Saturday, April 1 at 1 p.m.  The Seawolves are 13-0 all-time against the Catamounts.
