Men's Lacrosse edged by Bryant, 10-9, in 2 OT
Stony Brook junior Sean Brady (Huntington Bay, N.Y.) was outstanding in goal, finishing with 10 saves, but Bryant's Matt Larson scored 35 seconds into double overtime to lift the Bulldogs past the Seawolves, 10-9, Saturday at Bulldog Stadium. Redshirt freshman Mike Rooney (East Islip, N.Y.) tallied his third hat trick of the season to lead all players.

About the Game
Having played six of its first eight games on the road, the Stony Brook men's lacrosse team is home for Bryant on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. The Seawolves are 2-1 all-time against the Bulldogs, who won last year's contest, 10-9, in double overtime. Saturday's game will be a tune-up for the start of America East play, which begins at Vermont on March 30.

Juniors Colin Dunster and Alex Zomerfeld lead the Bulldogs, who have 57 goals in seven games, with 10 goals apiece. Sophomore Kevin Massa ranks as one of the top face-off specialists in the country, winning 103 of 153 draws (.673). Freshman Tom Carey has solid numbers in goal, posting a .564 save percentage and 8.64 goals against average. Of Bryant's seven losses, five have been separated by two goals or less.
Freshman Challen Rogers
(Coquitlam, British Columbia) tied a career-high with three goals, and three other players added two goals as the Stony Brook men's lacrosse team rallied past Sacred Heart, 12-10, Saturday afternoon at Campus Field.
The Seawolves rallied from a five-goal deficit in the first quarter, and took their first lead, 6-5, midway through the second quarter.
Senior Jeff Tundo (Orchard Park, N.Y.) and sophomore Mike Rooney (East Islip, N.Y.) tallied two goals and two assists apiece.
Cody Marquis led Sacred Heart with two goals and an assist. Matt Gannon added a goal and three assists.
Sophomore Pat McGushin (St. Charles, Ill.) made only his second start in goal, picking up his first career victory.
