About the Game
In search of its fourth road win of the season, the Stony Brook men's lacrosse team will head across the Long Island Sound to face Sacred Heart Saturday afternoon.  It will be the first all-time meeting between the Seawolves and Pioneers, who are looking for their first win of the season.  Stony Brook, which is playing its sixth road game of the season, is tied with Colgate and Maryland for the most road wins this season.

Scouting Sacred Heart
Junior Mike Mawdsley leads the Pioneers with nine goals, including a five-goal effort at Marist.  Senior Matt King and junior Cody Marquis have scored eight goals apiece.  Juniors Matt Gannon and Alex Miller have seven and six assists, respectively.  Senior Stephen Kontos has been solid at the 'X', winning 77 of 125 draws.  Senior Jon Flood has started three of five games in goal, and has a 12.13 GAA.



Last Time Out
The Stony Brook men's lacrosse team lost a non-conference game to No. 1 Maryland, 13-7, Sunday at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.  Sophomore Mike Andreassi (Holbrook, N.Y.) led the Seawolves (4-3) with two goals and an assist.

Kevin Cooper led Maryland (5-0) with two goals and an assist.  Three other players added goals for the Terrapins, who led by as many as nine, 11-2.

Freshman Dan Shaughnessy (Sudbury, Mass.) made seven saves against one of the nation's best offensive squads.
