Cambridge, Mass. - Sophomore Brody Eastwood (Victoria, British Columbia) of the Stony Brook men's lacrosse team garnered America East Player of the Week honors, the conference announced on Monday. Eastwood totaled nine goals in games against Lafayette and Duke.

Eastwood scored six goals in an 18-10 win over Lafayette and tallied his third hat trick of the the season against the No. 2-ranked Blue Devils.

Eastwood is second in Division I, averaging 4.33 goals per game. He's also scored six man-up goals and at least three goals in 10 of the last 11 games dating back to last season.

Stony Brook will be back at home to host Rutgers on Saturday, March 1 at 4 p.m. Last season, the Seawolves and Scarlet Knights played in a three-overtime contest, won by Stony Brook on Eastwood's score with 40 seconds left in the third OT.
