Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook head men's lacrosse coach Jim Nagle named senior Jeff Tundo (Orchard Park, N.Y.) as co-captain on Wednesday. Tundo joins senior Savaughn Greene (White Plains, N.Y.), who was chosen as a captain before the season.

"Jeff and Savaughn have been very good leaders for our team," Nagle said. "They've shown our staff the ability to lead our team, and I'm happy to honor them as co-captains."

Tundo, a transfer from Ohio State, has started all 19 games during his time as a Seawolf. As a junior, he tallied 17 goals and 28 assists, earning All-America East honors. Tundo has five goals and an assist in two games this season.

Greene is a fifth-year senior who missed last season with an injury. As a junior, he started all 14 games at close defense, totaling 15 ground balls and seven caused turnovers.

Stony Brook hosts No. 6 Virginia in its home opener on Saturday, February 23 at 12 p.m. For tickets and more information, visit GoSeawolves.org or call (631) 632-WOLF.
