2nd Season

Travis Johnson begins his second year at Stony Brook as part of Rick Sowell's staff.

Johnson came to the Seawolves after a two-year stint at Penn State University. With the Nittany Lions, Johnson was in charge of all recruiting activities, development of the defensive unit, practice and game plans, as well as scouting.

A defensive minded coach, Johnson served as an assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology for three years before his stay in State College, Pa. With the Ducks, Johnson worked with the man-down unit and with the operation of the substitution box.

Johnson played his collegiate ball at Rochester Institute of Technology and also spent a year coaching at his alma mater. While he was in Rochester, Johnson also suited up for the Rochester Knighthawks in the National Lacrosse League.
