Charlotte, N.C. - Former #Seawolves All-American Tyler Santucci was named to the Big South's All-Decade Team, the conference announced on Thursday. Santucci, a two-time all-conference selection, is one of four linebackers to make the list.

Santucci became the school's first Division I All-American in 2009 after a senior season in which he led the team with 93 tackles, including 14 for the loss.

Honored as the Big South Defensive Player of the Year as a senior, the Pittsburgh native finished his career second all-time in the program's Division I history with 284 total tackles.

Santucci, who currently serves as the defensive line coach, played in 43 of a possible 44 games. He graduated with a school-record 145 solo tackles.
