Charlotte, N.C. - Senior Brock Jackolski (Shirley, N.Y.) and freshman Mike Lisi (Franklin Square, N.Y.) were honored by the Big South Conference on Monday morning. Jackolski took home Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Lisi claimed Freshman of the Week.

Jackolski recorded a Big South-record five touchdowns in a 76-28 win over Gardner-Webb. He scored on runs of 1, 18, 53 and 30 yards, and caught a 7-yard TD from junior Kyle Essington (Chino Hills, Calif.). It was the third time this season a Stony Brook rusher has scored four touchdowns in a game.

Jackolski also picked up College Sporting News National All-Star and College Football Performance Awards accolades.

Lisi, who took over for a four-year starter in Paul Fenaroli '11, has started all 10 games this season, blocking for two 1,000-yard backs. He's blocked for a rushing attack that has run for at least 300 yards in a game five times and ranks fourth in FCS, and an offense that's averaging 39.5 points per game.

Stony Brook, which is on a seven-game winning streak, will play for the Big South Conference title against Liberty on Saturday, November 19 at 3:30.
