The Seawolves rushed for 355 yards and seven touchdowns in a 50-31 win over Charleston Southern on Saturday. Junior Miguel Maysonet (Riverhead, N.Y.) had 182 yards and four touchdowns, and senior Brock Jackolski (Shirley, N.Y.) added 174 yards and two touchdowns. Maysonet and Jackolski each rushed for 1,000 yards for a second straight season, and Maysonet became the school's all-time leader in rushing touchdowns with 25.
Stony Brook's rushing defense was outstanding, forcing the Buccaneers into minus -7 yards on the ground.

Ricky Rhodes has complemented Little with 471 yards. James Perry III has been Gardner-Webb's best receiver, catching 35 passes for 490 yards and a touchdown. Two-time All-Big South selection Marty Patterson leads the team with 79 tackles.
Stony Brook leads the all-time series, 2-1. In last year's meeting, sophomore Davonte Anderson (Corona, Calif.) set a school and Big South record with four interceptions as the Seawolves scored 55 unanswered points in the victory.
