Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook head football coach Chuck Priore has announced that the Seawolves will open the 2015 season at Toledo.

The game will be played on Thursday, September 3 at the historic Glass Bowl, which was completed in 1936.

"We're excited for the opportunity to play at Toledo, a school that has great tradition and a passionate fan base," Priore said. "Our players will look forward to playing at the Glass Bowl."

Stony Brook is 0-2 against the MAC, including last season's five-overtime loss at Buffalo.

Toledo, which is 13-5 against the current CAA, will open 2014 at home against New Hampshire.

The Seawolves, who will wrap up spring practice with their spring game on April 26, will open the season at home against Bryant. The ticket office is accepting season ticket renewals through May 9. Fans have the ability to renew online, in person, by mail or over the phone.

Fans interested in placing a deposit on 2014 season tickets can do so by calling (631) 632-WOLF.

Stony Brook will play a 12-game schedule for the first time in school history in 2014, including six at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium.
