Stony Brook, NY -- - Signs of spring may not be on the horizon based on recent weather conditions, but another attractive site seems to be growing with regularity. The new stadium outside the USB Sports Complex is beginning to form.

The bowl of the stadium has already taken shape and construction workers began installing seating on the press box side of the field this week.

The stadium, which will seat 7500, is to house football and men's lacrosse and other sports the University adds in the near future.

An all-weather surface and lights will be installed for use year-round.

Workers are still on track for the completion of the stadium in November.
