Last Minute TD Lifts Robert Morris Over Football 31-24

Stony Brook, N.Y. - Drew Geyer hit Dante Settles for a 45-yard touchdown pass with 37.7 seconds remaining in the game to lift Robert Morris over Stony Brook on Saturday afternoon at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium. With the loss, the Seawolves fell to 1-3 on the season and 1-2 in Northeast Conference play, while the Coloniels improved to 4-1 and 2-1.
Stony Brook rallied from a 21-7 halftime deficit to take a 24-21 lead with eight minutes to go in the contest. T.J. Moriarty's 22-yard touchdown run got SB within 21-14 with 10:03 left in the third. Following a Paul Perez interception later in the quarter, Moriarty hit Londre Blocker for a 73-yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 21 with 4:16 remaining in the third.
SB kept its momentum going and took its first lead of the contest just over seven minutes into the fourth on Sean Forman's 40-yard field goal to make it 24-21.
RMU tied it up just under three minutes later on a 33-yard field goal by Nate DiLorenzo, before Settles' touchdown sealed the victory.
Blocker led the Seawolves with three catches for 103 yards and a touchdown. Chad King tallied the Seawolves' first touchdown with an 86-yard kickoff return with 4:40 left in the first half. Moriarty finished 15-for-33 for 207 yards.
Geyer was 16-for-33 for 232 yards and a touchdown, while Devin Wilson had 20 carries for 139 yards and two touchdowns for RMU.
The Seawolves return to action on Saturday when they host Hofstra at 6:00 p.m.
