Stony Brook to join CAA Football in 2013

A new era of Stony Brook Football in the premier FCS conference to begin in 2013.

2014: Started all 12 games at center ... second team All-CAA Football ... helped block for a 1,000-yard rusher ... graduated as one of three players to start more than 40 games in school history.

Played in 10 games, starting nine at center.

2012: Started all 13 games at center ... first team All-Big South ... helped block for two 1,000-yard rushers.

2011: Played in all 13 games, starting 12 at center ... only true freshman to play for Seawolves ... blocked for a scoring offense that ranked second in FCS (38.0 ppg), arushing attack that ranked fourth (267.31) and a total offense that ranked eighth (441.62)... named Big South Freshman of the Week after Seawolves rushed for 315 yards and seven touchdowns at Gardner-Webb (11/12).

Prep School: Attended prep school at Suffield Academy ... Lisi was given the Outstanding Lineman Award for the Tigers, who went 7-1 and clinched a third straight league championship.

High School: A 2010 graduate of Carey High School ... A first-team all-state and All-Long Island selection as a senior, Lisi played in the Upstate/Downstate Football Classic.

Personal: Michael Lisi ... born April 5, 1992 in Mineola, New York ... son of Mike and Joan ... two sisters ... cousin, Chris Schacca, played baseball at Mount Saint Mary.
