2001:Concluded his junior season leading the NEC in passing with an impressive 59.2 completion percentage with 135 completions on 228 attempts . . . passed for 1703 yards with 12 touchdowns averaging 243.3 yards per game . . . rushed for 263 yards on 90 attempts averaging 37.6 yards per game with 3 touchdowns . . . In first start at quarterback, connected on 13-25 passes for 176 yards and a TD. His first collegiate TD was a 57-yard catch and run to Londre Blocker (9/21) . . . threw for 196 yards on 20-38 passing and added his first collegiate TD on an 18-yard quarterback draw versus Albany (9/29) . . . turned in one of the finest performances in the history of the program by throwing for a school record 474 yards (25-35) and five touchdowns to lead the SB offense to a school record 613 yards of total offense in 52-30 win over Wagner. His five touchdowns passes equalled a school record and his 15 consecutive completions to begin the game also set a new university record. The 474 passing yards also set a new single-game Northeast Conference high mark. In total, he finshed with a school-record 502 yards of total offense. He also ran for a TD in the fourth quarter.
