Stony Brook, N.Y. - The men's basketball team's game against Canisius on Saturday, Nov. 24, originally scheduled for 2 p.m., has been moved to 12 p.m. (noon) as an unintended consequence of the football team hosting Villanova in the first round of the NCAA Div. I Football Championship at LaValle Stadium.

The game time change is necessary due to the need to properly staff both events, which will ensure the best student-athlete and fan experience possible for all teams involved. The game time change also allows ticket holders of both games to attend both events rather than choose one or the other.

Stony Brook is offering a discount to fans interested in attending both games on Saturday, which is now being dubbed Seawolves Super Saturday. Any fan purchasing a ticket to the football game is entitled to purchase tickets to the men's basketball game at a "Buy One, Get One FREE" rate. To act on this offer, fans should call (631) 632-WOLF or visit the Stony Brook Athletics ticket office within the Sports Complex.
