TICKETS  |  SCHEDULE  |  SEASON PREVIEW

Stony Brook, N.Y. - There will be plenty of reasons to visit Pritchard Gymnasium this season. Both the men's & women's basketball teams are continuing their chase for an NCAA Tournament bid, and they both have talented student-athletes that will help them contend. In addition, Stony Brook Athletics is presenting promotions at the games that will excite fans, and the department is asking for their help for a few good causes.

There will be a charity drive in both November and December. For the November home games, all fans are encouraged to contribute to the department's food drive. Anyone bringing non-perishable canned food to a game in November will receive two FREE tickets to a future women's basketball game. For all December home games, all fans are encouraged to contribute to the department's second annual "Stuff-A-Bus" campaign. All fans who donate an unopen, unwrapped toy will receive two FREE tickets to a future women's basketball game. The toys will all be donated to the Pediatric Oncology Center of Stony Brook.

There will be two exciting family-oriented promtions happening early in the season. On Nov. 10 against Haverford, Stony Brook's men's basketball student-athletes will sign autographs after the game. Then on Dec. 22 prior to a 6 p.m. tip vs. Cornell, Stony Brook Athletics will host Santa Day, and Father Christmas himself will be in the lobby waiting for fans to take pictures with him!

And we didn't forget the Stony Brook students! During the month of November, students can sign up for the trip to Madison Square Garden to play La Salle on Dec. 7. For just $10, students will get a ticket to the game and a ticket on the LIRR from Stony Brook to Penn Station. Students can also eat for free on Dec. 1 because the department will be giving out FREE pizza at halftime of the St. Francis Brooklyn game, courtesy of Luigi's Pizzeria & Restaurant of Setauket.

Be sure to check GoSeawolves.org later this month for information on promotions in January, February and March.
