Stony Brook, N.Y. - Senior Demetrius Young (Sacramento, Calif.) appeared on ESPN SportsCenter's `Top 10 plays' on Thursday night after completing a spectacular alley-oop dunk off a feed from junior Muhammad El-Amin (Lansing, Mich.) in the first half of the Stony Brook men's basketball team's 58-47 victory over the Albany Great Danes at Pritchard Gymnasium. The play was ranked eighth out of the ten plays on the countdown.

The win over the Great Danes improved the Seawolves record to 14-11, its most victories since joining the America East in 2001-02. It was also the first time SBU has swept the season series from Albany since the 2003-04 season.

Stony Brook returns to action on Sunday, traveling to take on Vermont. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
