Stony Brook, N.Y. - Three of the best college baseball teams in the Northeast Region will gather in Norwich, Conn., April 4-6 as the Connecticut Tigers host the first-ever Dodd Stadium College Baseball Classic. The Stony Brook baseball team will be playing Bryant and Connecticut in the three-day tournament.

All three baseball programs have established themselves as premier teams in the Northeast Region, and all three have won NCAA Tournament games over the last two seasons. In 2012, Stony Brook became the first Northeast school to reach the College World Series, beating six-time national champion LSU in the NCAA Super Regionals.

Bryant and Connecticut will play the tournament's first game on Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. Then Stony Brook and Bryant will play Saturday at noon, followed by Stony Brook and Connecticut at 4 p.m. The tournament concludes Sunday with Stony Brook vs. Bryant at 12 p.m. and Connecticut vs. Bryant at 4 p.m.

Tickets for the Dodd Stadium College Baseball Classic are available through the Dodd Stadium box office (860) 887-7962 or online at CTTigers.com and will be available on a "Day Ticket" or "All-Session Ticket" basis. A Day Ticket will grants the holder access to all games held on a specific day, and the All-Session Ticket grants entrance to all five games on the weekend.

Pricing for the weekend is as follows: Adult Day Ticket: $10, Adult All-Session Ticket: $25; Student/Child/Senior Day Ticket: $7, Student/Child/Senior All-Session Ticket: $17; Groups of 10 or more Day Ticket: $5 per ticket. Luxury Suites will be available for rent at $300 per day or $600 for all games Friday through Sunday.
