2006: Allowed one hit in one inning and a received the save against NYIT (4/2)... Pitched two scorless innings of relief striking out three vs. Binghamton (4/9)...

2005: Appeared in18 games...only walked eight batters in 29.2 innings of work...threw a perfect seventh inning to pick up the save in a 5-3 win over Delaware... tossed a perfect ninth and earned the save in a 1-0 victory over Seton Hall . . . threw 2.0 innings of one-hit ball to pick up the win in a 8-7 decision over UMBC . . .allowed one hit in one inning of work in his third save of the season in a 4-2 win over Army.

2004: Appeared in 17 games, leading the team with three saves, a 2.28 ERA and a .211 opponent batting average...pitched two scoreless innings, striking out two batters without allowing a hit against Hofstra to earn first win of the season...tallied back-to-back saves, helping the Seawolves' take two of the best-of-three series against conference foe Northeastern.

2003: Did not play.

2002: Appeared in 16 games, starting one in 2003, earing his first collegiate victory over Wagner...scored his first save against Sacramento St....earned his second save of the season versus St. Francis.

High School: A pitcher and centerfielder at Wantagh High School...All-Conference pitcher as a senior with a 1.24 ERA...pitched a five-inning shutout in county semifinal game a a junior.

Personal: Son of Jitka and Peter Abel...has one brother, Chris and dog, Daisy...majoring in health sciences.
