Stony Brook, N.Y. - Sophomore Eric Speakman finished seventh, and junior Olivia Burne and Annie Keown took fourth and fifth, respectively, to lead Stony Brook at the first annual Wolfie Invitational on Saturday.

Speakman crossed the finish line in a time of 25:45.02. Junior Carloa Roa placed 16th in a time of 26:22.59.

Junior Nicholas Lemon finished 21st (27:17.39) and sophomore Chris Sauer took 25th (27:31.66) to cap Stony Brook's top 25 finishers.

Burne crossed in 18:02:24 and was followed 15 seconds later by Keown (18:17.08).

Freshman Christina Melian turned in an impressive performance, finishing eighth (18:47.83). Senior Kristal Conklin took 10th in 18:53.38.

Freshman Tara Peck took 13th in 19:05.64.

Junior Robin Lynn and sophomore Kate Pouder finished 23rd and 24th, respectively.

The season continues at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh on Friday, September 28.
