On the women's side, senior LaQuashia Hall finished second in two events. She ran a 8.0 60 and a 27.0 200.

Sophomore Robin Lynn placed second in the mile (5:24.5).

"Tonight was a great start to the 2011-12 indoor track season," head coach Andy Ronan said.  We had some very encouraging performances from a young squad. The sprinters, jumpers and throwers have been working hard for the last 12 weeks.  Tonight, they got a chance to see where they stand in a competitive environment, and I feel they did very well.  Terry Martin wins in the Hurdles and Long Jump, Lamar Hayes first in 200m and 2nd in Long Jump, and Tajh Evans school record in 60m. It is early, but I feel we got out of the blocks well tonight."
