#Seawolves wrap up weekend at Terrier Invite

Boston, Mass. - Junior Daniel Denis and sophomore Mitchell Kun of the Stony Brook men's track and field team ran the men's 3,000 in personal-best times Saturday at the Terrier Invite hosted by Boston University. Denis' time of 8:14.25 qualified him for the IC4As and was good for 17th place in the event.

Denis won his heat by more than four seconds, beating our Sean Ferguson of Sacred Heart, who logged a time of 8:18.27.

Kun shaved nearly 10 ticks off his previous personal record of 8:38.54, placing 37th in 8:28.56.

Sophomore Bradley Amazan clocked in at 2:29.94 and took 21st in the men's 1,000. The time was the best by a Seawolf in the event this year.

The Seawolves return to action Friday at the Metropolitan Championships at Armory Track.
