Indoor: Part of DMR team that finished first in 10:19.78 at NYC Gotham Cup (1/16)...was 34th in 8:24.00, which met an IC4A standard, in the 3,000-meters at the John Thomas Terrier Classic (1/31)... part of men's DMR team that finished fourth in an IC4A-qualifying time of 10:00.15 at the America East Indoor Championships (2/20)...was sixth in 8:29.47 in the 3,000-meters at the America East Indoor Championships (2/21).
Outdoor: Was third in the 1,500-meter run in 4:06.05 at the Stony Brook Quad Meet (3/28)...placed second in the 3,000-meters in 8:40.86 at the Colonial Relays (4/3-4).

High School: Five-year letterwinner at Islip High School...was a distance runner...captained the team his senior year...broke school records in the 1,000-meters as a senior and in the mile as a junior....crowned two-mile champion at the N.Y. Relays as a senior...Tier Two All-American and All-State as a senior...four-time All-League selection....selected All-Division as a sophomore, junior and senior...placed on the All-County and All-Long Island teams during his junior and senior years...earned All-Eastern State accolades as a junior and Long Island Champion status as a senior...Scholar-Athlete...Principal's High Honor Roll.

Personal: Majoring in medicine....son of Michael and Louisa Watts...brother of James and Emily...father was a national honorable mention track runner at C.W.
