Stony Brook's office of Academic Support Services offers academic advising, tutoring, career advisement, counseling and programming through the NCAA Champs Life Skills. The staff will be available to help create a working balance between your sport, your school work and your role in the community.
The Goldstein Family Student-Athlete Development Center opened in October 2006. The 6,000-square foot facility is located off Pritchard Gymnasium, adjacent to the Indoor Sports Complex atrium, and accommodates more than 400 student-athletes in a space that features a state-of-the-art computer lab, a study hall/multipurpose function room, a career resource/library area and a private tutor room. The Center also includes administrative offices for the academic advising staff.
